First a little context. I'm a vacuum collector living in Saint Louis. I currently have 66 vacuums in my collection and I really like central vacuums. This Cyclovac unit is the 15th central vacuum in my collection. I live in an apartment so I use all of my central vacuum units without pipes. Some units have a utility valve built in and for those that don't, I just attach a utility valve to the in-take and connect the hose, far more powerful than a portable vacuum. The Cyclovac 7525 is amazing, what power! I have a 240 volt outlet in my dining room so that is where my 240 volt power units are and I have 6 of them now. The unique feature with this Cyclovac unit is that you can connect the motors either in series or parallel. After trying both configurations, I prefer the series configuration. The parallel configuration is probably more useful when installing the unit with long pipe runs but when connecting a hose directly to it, I didn't notice a difference. With the series configuration, the suction is amazing and the airflow is still really good. In order to clean well, you need a decent amount of suction and a decent amount of airflow. With many dual motor units, one specification is quite high but the other one is on the low side, that's not the case with this unit. And with most dual motor units, you either get a series or parallel configuration and you can't change it. I'm not sure if the people who work on designing these units will see this review but the design is ingenius, allowing you to choose the configuration that works best for you and making it easy to change it if you wish. I really can't think of any down sides to this unit, the power is incredible and I have no regrets about purchasing it. It has become the crown jewel of my vacuum collection!
